Father, give us eyes to see your Kingdom and your life right here, right now. Thank you for being the God that acts and redeems. Thank you for being the God that doesn't give up and continues to pursue us. Open your word and shape and softetn our hearts by it so we can receive you! Amen.

- What are the three images images (maybe 4 if you include the warnings about false prophets) Jesus uses to describe his Kingdom followers versus others in the world?
- Let's look at the first one more in depth. What are the differences between the two roads and gates?
- Let's look at the second image now. What are the two kinds of trees?
- How are we supposed to know the difference between a false prophet and a true one (the two types of trees)?
- What will happen to the bad trees?
- Does anything surprise you about verses 21-23? What surprises you?
- Let's look at the third image. What are the two types of buildings/builders in it?
- What's the difference between the two types of buildings/builders?
- What happens to both buildings when the storms come?
- Have you experienced any storms? Are there more to come?
- What was the response of the crowd to Jesus in verse 28-29? How do you think you would have responded?
Daddy, thank you so much for showing us the way to life through obeying you. Help us to seek you today in the details and cracks of life and to follow your teaching. Thank you.

2) One is wide and one is narrow. They lead to different things.

4) A false prophet bears bad fruit and it should be thrown upon the fire. The good tree has good fruit.
5) The bad one will be thrown upon the fire.
6) Just because you think the things you are doing are good doesn't mean you will go to Heaven.
7) Wise and Foolish
8) One must be built on a good foundation of rock. If not it will fall.

What is the rock that the wise builder builds on?
1. The three images are a narrow and wide gate, good and bad trees,and the smart and foolish house builders.
2. The big, easy to follow road probably goes to the gate of hell. The narrow road which is hard to follow goes to the gate of heaven.
3. The two kinds of trees are good and bad.
4. The passage says that you can tell who the false prophets are by their deeds, otherwise I am not sure.
5. The bad trees, which include the false prophets, will be chopped down and burned.
6. It surprises me that God would turn down people who preached in his name, forced out demons in his name, and did miracles in his name. Only the people who obey get in.
7. The two types of builders are the wise one, who obeys God; and the foolish one, who doesn't obey God. The wise builder's house was built on solid rock and it stayed up through bad weather. The foolish builder's house was built on sand it it didn't stay standing.
